I begin with an idea and then it becomes something else. - Pablo Picasso

My name is Lisa and I'm a marketing whiz. I'm a motivatedresult-driven, go-getter and have a proven track record of creating award-winning collateral pieces and marketing campaigns. Known for taking initiative and leads on projects and events, I am a strong team player with a passion for helping others. I am a lucky person - knowing that marketing was my calling. It all started in high school, when I decided to take DECA. Not only did I have to showcase different businesses throughout the school, I had to find ways to promote it. Ever since then, it has been a calling of mine, going on to study marketing and management in college.

After I attended Florida Gulf Coast University, I was able to land an agency job at Zimmerman Advertising as an Assistant Media Buyer for our national clients, such as Pep Boys and Party City and direct response clients, Atlantis Resorts and CarFax. Here, I led the national buyers with daily reports of national accounts and managed the billing process. I followed-up with cable networks to guarantee schedules and make sure we met our delivery and if we fell short of our guarantee, I would work with networks on securing additional units (ADUS). From there, I moved up and became a Junior Media Buyer for Papa Johns. I negotiated, implemented and controlled the media buys with supervision from leadership. Working with the media planning team, stayed up-to-date on marketplace conditions as well as media and promotional opportunities. I also contributed to the development of media presentations, POVs and presented national buyers with daily reports of our national accounts.

After that, I decided to expand my experience and try healthcare marketing. I accepted a job at Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS), a subsidiary of Tenet Healthcare, as a Neuroscience Marketing Coordinator. I learned the ins-and-outs of marketing and healthcare - mainly neurosciences. I started to work with our sales team on collateral they needed for physician-to-physician development, as well as advertisements to the community. I also built many relationships along the way, whether it was from networking events, physician events, community events and general business meetings.

During my time as the Neuroscience Marketing Coordinator, I had an opportunity to work with a local TV station, WFLX Fox29, to build a commercial and vignettes for our Palm Beach Neuroscience Institute (PBNI). This campaign alone resulted in a 132% year-over-year growth in website visits. The campaign consisted of a TV commercial and vignettes, a microsite on local TV station website, digital ads and print ads.

After seeing the results from this campaign and knowing where marketing is heading, I decided I wanted to increase my learning in the digital realm. I worked with our web master on updating websites and launching new websites. I was able to write the copy for a few of our practices’ websites, while learning how to work on the backend of the websites. At this time, I also realized how important social media has become. I decided to take on handling all of our social media accounts for TFPS - Facebook, Twitter and Google+. From there, I tasked myself to manage and keep up-to-date with our accounts, creating and scheduling posts, as well as doing a weekly boost, resulting in growing our Facebook followers to over 1,000 "Likes" a year.

After two years, I was promoted to Marketing Specialist. Taking on more roles, such as event leader, manager of all social media accounts (and launching a new Pinterest page), website maintenance - updating physician profiles, writing content and uploading physician blogs and expanded my support with the Regional Service Line Director to include Surgical Oncology and Orthopedics.

While I'm not working, I like to spend time outside and with my family and friends. I'm an Aunt to my adorable nephew - whom I love to spoil. I also have a knack for cooking and baking! I love finding ways to prepare delicious meals, with a healthy spin. I also have a passion for decorating cakes and cupcakes. I started out in a local bakery, in Wellington, Florida, and have continued with it. I've made wedding cakes, birthday cakes and special occasion cupcakes.

And this is just the beginning...
